FMU salutes Rider Parents

The Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda (FMU) has lauded parents who had to foot the bills for their children to represent Uganda in the second round of the FIM Central Africa Motocross Championship in Mombasa Kenya.

The FMU Vice president Hajji Hamidu Gombe appreciated the parents’ efforts at the teams flag off on December 11,2024 at national council of sport Lugogo.

“We have not funded this team because our bank accounts were blocked and we cannot access funds to run the Federation activities. However, I want to thank the parents who have sacrificed and paid all the costs for the team to Kenya,” Gombe said before handing over the Uganda flag to the Deputy vice president in charge of Motorcycling Arthur Blick Jr.
