The first leg of the FIM Central Africa Motocross Championship gets underway on Saturday April 20 and Sunday 21,2025 at the Smart Beach in Mityana.
With the Kenyans missing in action, the Tanzanians will fill the gap in the MX2 and MX1 classes respectively.
However, the fierce battle is between the Musede brothers Ethan and Jude Kyle Musede.
Ethan leads the table with 95 points, nine ahead of his cousin brother Jude Kyle Musede who is in the third position with 86 points.
Kyle who is the reigning 50cc champion was promoted to the 65cc this year, but he is not ready to surrender the title to anybody be it his relative.
“We did not train because of the exam period, but we are ready for the challenge because it did not affect only us,” Denis Musede the parent of Musede Jr stated.
Whereas his cousin Ethan Musede won the first round and finished third in the second round, Jude has been consistent coming second in both races which gives him confidence.
However, the two will face the stiff challenge from Haiden Khalisa who is in the second position on the log.
In the MX2 class the Tanzanians including Ally Hamood, Juma Kharif Kejo, Gustav Bernard Minja, and Kelvin Bashiri Mtangi will take on Isma Sserwadda, Habib Kiggundu and Jordan Mukiibi.
In the MX1 class, Masoud Seif Khamis, Liam Miller, Simon Vitalis Mangombo, and Kelvin Gabriel Akyo of Tanzania will face Uganda’s Sserwadda Ashim, Muttebe Nagibu and Fortune Sentamu.
