  1. It’s great to see KCB Bank taking such a strong stance in supporting motorsport in Uganda. The Pearl of Africa Rally sounds like an exciting event, showcasing both local and international talent. Nasser Mutebi, Michael Mukula Jr., and Oscar Ntambi seem like perfect ambassadors for KCB, given their experience and achievements. The sh270m sponsorship is a significant investment, and it’s good to hear that a portion is going directly to the FMU and the drivers. Sheila Awori’s point about fueling the dreams of young Ugandans is inspiring—motorsport can indeed be a powerful platform for talent development. Do you think this level of sponsorship will continue to grow in the coming years, and how do you see it impacting the sport in Uganda? The involvement of foreign drivers like Karan Patel adds an interesting dynamic to the event. I’m curious, though, how do you think the local drivers will fare against the international competition? This rally seems like more than just a race; it’s a celebration of Ugandan resilience and skill. What are your thoughts on the potential for motorsport to put Uganda on the global stage?

It’s not just about the race but also about showcasing Uganda’s potential on a global stage. The inclusion of both Ugandan and foreign drivers adds an exciting competitive edge to the event. However, I wonder how this sponsorship will impact the long-term growth of motorsport in Uganda. Will it encourage more young people to take up rallying as a career? Also, how does KCB plan to measure the success of this investment beyond the event itself?
