Kenya Commercial Bank Uganda (KCB) has taken over the 2026 naming rights of the 8 regional National Rally Championship rounds.
The Bank announced the sh560m annual package to the Federatio of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda -FMU at a function held at the company headquarters on Lugogo By-pass in Kampala.
The announcement Managing Director Edgar Byamah created excitement among the motorsport stakeholders after handing over the cheque to Jimmy Akena, the president of the Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda.
The gesture symbolized not just financial backing, but a renewed commitment to the more competitive brand of motorsport in the East Africa region.
The package will take all the eight rounds of the National Rally Championship starting with the Mbale City round which is the opening round, Pearl of Africa Uganda Rally and UMOSPOC Kabalega rally which is the sevens round in Bunyoro Region.
