Sebuguzi gives Yasin a run for his money
Ronald Sebuguzi gave Yasin Nasser a run for his money in the super Special stage at Mwesigwa Rukaari Resort on Friday January 24,2025.
The Shell V-Power fueled driver navigated by Anthony Mugambwa in a Ford Fiesta proto was paired with MOIL fueled crew of Yasin Nasser navigated by Ali Katumba in a superior Ford fiesta R5 dubbed the billion car.
The two were just from the first stage of the two-day rally that had Yasin emerge victor.
Sebuguzi put up a spirited fight but only managed to beat Yasin in one lane.
It was an exciting and entertaining battle in the Lumala @60 and Mum @90 Mbarara Rally that ended with Yasin Nasser on top.
Nasser posted a total time loss of 11.35minutes beating Sebuguzi (11:47 minutes) by 11.7 seconds.
Ponsiano Lwakataka navigated by a Subaru Impreza N12B finished third, Michael Mukula Jr navigated by Siraje Kyambadde came fourth while Nasser Mutebi fifth.
On Saturday January 25,2025, the competitors will attack two stages to be repeated thrice and end the rally with the prize giving at Lake-view Hotel.
