With an event to go, Musa Ssegaabwe is the national Clubman rally champion 2024.
Ssegaabwe sealed his championship title in Gulu City when he won the CRC category.
The Segamu Consult 14 sponsored driver, navigated by Mathias Kiyega in a Mitsubishi Evo9, has now turned his eyes on the Kabalega Rally in Hoima on November 22-24 in the districts of Hoima and Kikuube.
The CRC category is for new drivers in the competition that after completing three events a season are promoted to the National rally championship the following year.
In those three events, the crews must complete 50 percent of the rally for a year.
“After winning the CRC, Kabalega Rally provides us with a good platform to gauge ourselves in a full rally against the big boys before next year and that is what we are going to do,” Segamu said.
The Kabalega shall decide the 2024 NRC and 2WD champions and is expected to draw a big number of the big boys including Ronald Sebuguzi, Jas Mangat, Dr. Moustapha Mukasa, Nasser Mutebi, Peter Kalule and Hassan Alwi who has won it twice 2017 and 2018
