UMOSPOC members ready for Pearl

Two UMOSPOC officials will serve in the Pearl of Africa Uganda rally as technical officials.

The two officials Charles Dick Semengo and Cornelius Kyalya have been undergoing serious safety and technical training under the supervision of FIA certified officials Moses Seguya and Viren Goricha from Kenya.

Kyalya in April 12,2024 was in charge conducting his final touches in the scrutineering department at the SMC challenge rally in Masaka.

His supervisors have lauded him for being a composed and quick learner in what he does.

“Yes, he is getting there. It takes time to be there but I can say he is progressing and is good,” Goricha said at the scrutineering of the SMC Challenge rally at BAM fuel station.

The other instructor Sseguya was also all praise for the UMOSPOC officials as he said,” They are both dedicated and committed to what they do and that motivates me to work with them.”

Ssemengo has of recent been a versatile participant in motorsport and was the clerk of the course for the Bunjako Autocross that ended successfully without any incident.

Learning from their experienced senior Justin Mungoma, the Club is confident that Mungoma is passing on the mantle to the junior ones who are doing well and focus much in the administration and politics of the sport.

The emergency of the two new bloods is testimony that the November UMOSPOC-MOSAC Kabalega rally has more than enough manpower.
